Senior Wastewater Design Engineer

My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Design Team.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have achieved or are working towards Chartered status.
Applicants must have experience working within a UK based Consultancy on Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects, including experience completing calculations and detailed designs for Pumping Stations, Combined Sewerage Overflow, Pipe Lines, Pressure Pipes, Water Retaining Structures, and Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants.
Experience in Hydraulic Modelling to develop innovative solutions for Sewerage Projects is also essential.
Beneficial experience includes using AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Infodrainage.
Typical Responsibilities:Water and Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects.Detailed Civil Engineering Design including the design of Pumping Stations, Water and Waste Water Treatment Works, and Water Retaining Structures.Detailed Design of Pipe Lines, Pressure Pipes, and Combined Sewerage Overflows using Civils 3D and Infodrainage.Shaft tank design.Calculations and Reports.Mentoring Junior Team Members.Frequent liaison with CAD Technicians to complete detailed designs.Project Management.Frequent liaison with Clients, Business Associates, and Utility Companies.This role comes with a competitive salary, benefits package, and career development.
