About the Role We are seeking a skilled Senior Voice Engineer to lead and manage advanced voice engineering projects and operations.
This role is perfect for a hands-on technical expert with deep experience in voice systems, SBCs, and telecommunication platforms.
You will design, implement, and support complex voice solutions for our clients, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities • Voice Platform Management: o Design, deploy, and support voice platforms, any of the below would be beneficial - BroadSoft, Ribbon, Metaswitch, and Asterisk.
o Configure and optimise SBCs for seamless communication.
• Systems Administration & Integration: o Manage Linux-based systems, OpenStack environments, and cloud solutions.
o Integrate and maintain Microsoft Teams, Webex, and PBX/DMS systems.
o Utilize monitoring and analysis tools like Gigamon and Wireshark to troubleshoot and optimize networks.
• Security & Networking: o Configure and manage firewalls, routers, and SIEM systems to ensure secure and reliable voice communication.
o Collaborate on networking solutions involving Cisco technologies.
• Collaboration Tools: o Implement and support collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Webex.
o Manage unified communication systems for seamless user experience.
• Technical Leadership: o Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
o Develop and maintain technical documentation and training resources.
Required Skills and Experience • Any experience with Broadsoft, Ribbon, Metaswitch, and Asterisk.
• Strong knowledge of SBC configuration and voice protocols.
• Proficient in Linux systems administration and Cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Gigamon, Wireshark, and voice monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Webex, and other collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of firewalls, router technologies, and PBX/DMS systems.
• Experience in SIEM implementation and voice system security.
Preferred Qualifications • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Ribbon).
• Advanced understanding of VoIP, SIP, and unified communication technologies.
• Proven track record of managing and deploying large-scale voice systems.
