Senior Veterinary Surgeon

GLG Vets is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Hertfordshire.
This is a full-time role with a varied caseload and the opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive environment.
Location: Hertfordshire Full-time: 40 hours per week (4 days, 1 in 4 weekends and OOH) Salary: Up to £75,000 (dependent on experience), plus benefits Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality veterinary care to a range of cases, with the opportunity to manage complex procedures and surgeries.
Lead and mentor a dedicated team of vets and support staff, providing guidance and support.
Ensure exceptional standards of patient care and client communication.
Be an active participant in the ongoing development of the practice, contributing to its success and growth.
Participate in the 1 in 4 weekends and on-call (OOH) rota.
Ideal Candidate: RCVS registered and ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience as a veterinary surgeon.
Proficient in surgery, diagnostics, and emergency medicine.
A passion for mentoring junior staff and providing a high level of client care.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
