Senior Veterinarian - Slate Hall Veterinary Services SENIOR VETERINARIAN POSITION IN AN INDUSTRY LEADING DEDICATED POULTRY PRACTICEBased in Atcham, Shrewsbury We are seeking a full time dynamic, enthusiastic and confident senior veterinarian to join our large team of veterinarians working in a dedicated poultry practice.
Slate Hall Veterinary Services has an extensive and varied client base across the UK that involves working with both large integrated and smaller independent producers of broilers, broiler breeders, commercial layers, turkeys, ducks and gamebirds.
Candidates should be computer literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English is required.
An RCVS recognised degree in veterinary medicine is essential.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of poultry diseases management and several year's experience in the poultry sector however, we would also consider someone with some intensive livestock veterinary experience looking to work in a world-leading poultry industry.
Full training and support will be provided.
The position is primarily based in Atcham near Shrewsbury and involves daily contact with clients for which you need to have a pragmatic, practical approach and the ability to work well within a team of poultry veterinarians and administrators.
A personal commitment to CPD is essential to the role and is fully funded.
Remuneration would be competitive, determined by the level of poultry experience and includes a company car (for business and private use), private health care, laptop, phone and relocation allowance (if required).
