You will be responsible for analysing and reviewing overdue valuations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the valuation continues to provide the Bank with the required level of security for the continuation of the client's current facilities.
Responsibilities: 1.
Valuation Review & Sign Off: Review valuation in accordance with Bank procedures Highlight any key risks and liaise with the following as required in order to agree a way forward mitigating any risks as identified ensuring action plans are agreed accordingly the client Relationship Manager Credit Risk Valuer If the valuation is satisfactory, complete accurately the sign off template ensuring all key areas are adequately addressed Submit to Credit Risk in a timely manner and act as first point of contact for any queries 2.
Liaising with Relationship Managers: Provide relationship managers with relevant information to ensure they fully understand any impact to the Bank's security and to enable them to discuss with client as required 3.
Valuation Sign-Offs: Lead the review and approval process of property valuations.
Ensure valuations are accurate, compliant with internal standards, and aligned with market conditions and comparables Coordinate with valuer, valuation manager and internal teams to facilitate timely and accurate valuation sign-offs Accurately and efficiently submit valuation and sign off to Credit Risk following Bank procedures Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and client service.
Essential Knowledge & Experience Experience of reviewing valuations (commercial and residential) and liaising with key stakeholders to address identified risks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Demonstrate an understanding of Real Estate finance and / or Trading Businesses transactions and the role valuations play in support of the transaction Understand and adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures with particular reference to: Consumer Duty (incorporating consideration of Vulnerable Customers Fair Treatment of Customers Information Security and Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR) Risk management and reporting of risk management incidents Regulatory compliance and prevention of financial crime Disaster recovery and business continuity Conduct Rules and Professional Standards Behavioural Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
