The role:We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to develop and own the user journeys, wireframes and interactive prototypes for complex developer and enterprise experiences across multiple product areas.
Here's what you'll be responsible for:User centred design & design thinkingApply a deep level of expertise in multiple core UX skills, across a diverse set of user problemsHave an active understanding of the entire Tyk product and strategy, and promote this within the UX team and squadChampion a design thinking mindset within a single product area and across the rest of the organisationDrive decision making in the UX team and squad based on user needs, product knowledge and design principlesCollaborate with other designers, developers and stakeholders to design enterprise and developer experiences within a particular product area, while considering the impact across the entire productDevelop and own the user journeys, wireframes and interactive prototypes for complex developer and enterprise experiences across multiple product areasGuide your team in creating product experiences that sit at the intersection of human value, business viability and technical feasibilityContribute to product planning and prioritisation sessions as the UX expert, by generating and planning UX workActively create new frameworks and processes to improve the ways of working within the UX team and product squadWork closely with the development teams to ensure there is a common understanding and direction for any UX activities and workflowsActively identify research activities, analyse and synthesise data from a variety of research sources to enable product decisions, and report findings to the rest of the businessWork on complex problems that cross multiple product areas and user groupsShare and gather feedback on designs throughout projects and share with the rest of their product and UX teamHelp to define personas and user needs in collaboration with a user researcherCommunicate and advocate what is best for the user throughout the organisationCommunicate design ideas internally and externallyContribute to Tyk design system with the rest of the UX and design teamExperience designing for technical developer and enterprise (B2B) toolingExperience working with and driving a design thinking frameworkExperience working with projects from conception through to deliveryExperience communicating and presenting designs internally and externallyExperience in helping teams and organisations make evidence based decisionsAbility to use standard set of design software (we use Figma & Miro)Confidence in communicating designs to a wide range of stakeholdersCreative, innovative and problem-solving mindsetAbility to see things from both a macro and micro level (and know when to focus on each)Broad knowledge of the end to end design capabilities (research, UX, visual)Deep knowledge of interaction design, describing use cases, user flows and journeysInspiring others with evidence-based storytellingAbility to work remotely with a distributed teamWillingness to learn about new concepts and adopt new toolsHere's why you should join us:Everyone has unlimited paid holiday.We have total flexibility in hours, as we believe creativity flows better when our people are given freedom to decide when they are most productive.
