Senior New Business Underwriter - Construction

My client, a global specialist insurer, is seeking a Senior New Business Underwriter to join their Construction team.
This is an exciting and progressive opportunity where you will play a key role in expanding the Construction book of business.

Salary: circa £95,000 + excellent benefits
Location: City of London
Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

This role will primarily focus on developing the company's UK Construction Liability and CAR package business, targeting risks with premiums ranging from £50,000 to £500,000.
The portfolio will be predominantly Liability-based (EL/PL), with a smaller portion dedicated to CAR.
CAR experience is not essential and can be taught in the role.
