** Person Specification Knowledge Essential Up to date knowledge of relevant conditions and their therapeutic applications Ability to use own initiative Understanding the Dynamics of a group Computer skills Supervisory skills Effective prioritisation skills Qualifications Essential NVQ Level III in Care "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support" award (or equivalent qualification) and substantial experience as a therapy assistant Further Training Essential Counselling skills Teaching in a group setting Hydrotherapy course Experience Essential Substantial experience as a therapy assistant Evidence of CPD/IST Contractual Requirements Essential Able to work flexibly including weekends Ability to travel between hospital sites
