Minimum two years of experience in direct client work, including assessments and group facilitation.
Proven experience delivering client-focused services, particularly in addiction and substance misuse.
Strong background in working collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including managing high-risk client situations.
Minimum Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Counselling or an equivalent field.
Accreditation with a recognised professional body.
Leadership and coaching abilities, with experience in developing and delivering therapeutic support programmes.
Strong planning and administrative skills, with the ability to adapt and evolve treatment programmes to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct weekly audits on the client management system.
Oversee client care, community dynamics, and therapeutic programme operations.
Address and resolve client complaints and individual concerns.
Support the Manager in upholding the treatment contract and maintaining daily compliance standards.
Lead and deliver therapeutic interventions, including group sessions and one-to-one support.
Facilitate fellowship meetings, aftercare, and family groups.
Collaborate with probation and health workers on client reviews and assessments.
Assess and manage client risks, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
Maintain accurate records, including care plans, attendance, and progress notes.
Engage families in the therapeutic process to support holistic recovery.
Model appropriate behaviour, setting standards for the team and community.
Promote dynamic, person-centered care aligned with the 12-Step Programme whilst linking with risk assessments and Dr assessments.
Prepare weekly reports for relevant third parties and update schedules as needed.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to empowering clients to achieve lasting recovery.
Note: A DBS check at the enhanced level will be required for the successful candidate.
