About Your New Job We are looking for a Senior Technical Underwriter to support the Pricing, Underwriting & Customer Analytics Department.
In this role, you will help implement underwriting standards aligned with their risk appetite across commercial property and casualty classes.
Your responsibilities will include: Practice strong stakeholder management skills to build relationships across the organisation Process improvement - use your analysis skillset to make recommendations Develop underwriting standards and question sets to optimize risk selection and customer experience.
Set and continuously review risk appetite for commercial property and casualty classes.
Grow into a subject matter expert on cross-functional projects Uphold high standard of compliance What Skills You Need In-depth knowledge of the insurance market.
CIP qualification (essential) Proven success in technical underwriting with a focus on professional standards.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and numerical reasoning capabilities.
Experience in teamwork and project delivery.
Exceptional relationship management and ability to build long-term connections.
Skilled in making decisions on complex technical underwriting scenarios.
