Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Leadership: Oversee and enhance the company's quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings in the production and quality control processes.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant guidelines.
Supplier and Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials, overseeing the development and maintenance of strong relationships.
New Product Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to introduce new products, ensuring that they meet quality standards from concept to launch.
Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in the production process.
Audits and Inspections: Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring that the company is well-prepared for inspections from regulatory bodies.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Experience in a technical management role within the food production industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
