About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to join JB Corrie as a member of the contracts team, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager.
This role is a hybrid of both Technical Manager and Contracts Manager, the role of Technical Manager will be the primary role with additional duties under the role of Contracts Manager.
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of contracts, from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.
To ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Duties under the remit of Technical Manager: Ideally the candidate will have experience in the Gallagher Pulse Fence System or a similar PIDS (perimeter intruder detection systems) product or sector.
A knowledge of Control Systems, Hardware, Software, associated accessories and related requirements.
Ideally they will hold or can work towards obtaining a Level 3 Engineering qualification for Gallagher and related products and services.
JB Corrie will provide support to the right candidate for this qualification if it is not currently held.
Electrical Systems, Networking and related systems related to the application of PIDS in the security sector, support the build of field cabinets, the application and commissioning in the factory and field environment.
Automated Access Control Equipment, Gates, Blockers etc and all associated accessories and Safety Equipment, the Hardware, Software, commissioning and handover activities.
Preparation of Technical Documents to facilitate the Technical Application and Delivery Preparation of Technical Equipment to facilitate the Technical Delivery - Hardware and Software applications.
Maintenance of Technical Equipment, Documentation and related product and service.
Management of other employees to facilitate the Technical Delivery, it should be considered that the role is mainly high-level delivery of hardware, software and all preliminary works are carried out by another competent employee.
Ensuring that all JB Corrie and all Technical Hardware and Software Supplier company policies and procedures are adhered to especially Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality with regards to the Technical Delivery.
Duties under the remit of Contracts Manager: Produce plans outlining the scope, timeline, and resources required for each contract Manage nominated contracts, working to achieve projected margins, programme, and to client's expectations Provide input into estimate breakdown Procure materials and plant required for contracts under your management Schedule and coordinate the activities of installers using Kelio Planning, ensuring efficient use of resources Authorise installers expenses and overtime in a timely manner Monitor, record and authorise installers, annual leave and absences via Kelio Stay up to date with industry certifications and ensure installers are encouraged and supported in achieving relevant certifications Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to, especially Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance policies Carry out regular site visits, and maintain regular and constructive liaison with clients Assist with the generation of new business, clients, and enquiries Organise all RAMS for contracts under your management Negotiate and raise interim/final payment applications Authorise invoices where applicable on Sage Attend various meetings as and when required Work towards achieving departmental targets and objectives Location : Remote/Flexible/Office/Home/Field.

The role will support a number of sites and locations throughout the UK, requiring travel and overnight stays, which is supported by subsistence.
