This is an exciting client-facing role within the tax team. You will have a fantastic level of communication and the ability to build long-term professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
There is a requirement to manage deadlines, complex technical tax queries, and the ability to review the work of others within the team.
You will be a vital part of the team, providing accurate, timely information to clients, enabling them to make informed business decisions.
Essentials: Background in PracticeQualified ATT and/or CTA - minimum 8 years relevant tax experienceNo ATT Qualification - minimum 10 years relevant tax experienceOn-the-job experience in corporate tax advisory matters including restructuring, tax due diligence, corporate tax compliancePreferable, not essential: experience with EIS, EMI options, R&D Tax creditsFantastic communication and interpersonal skillsGood team playerAttention to detailKey Responsibilities: Running tax advisory assignments.Supporting Directors on more complex assignments.Completing complicated client tax returns.Managing and servicing clients within own portfolio.Providing technical advice to the companies Team and/or clients.Responsibility for departmental initiatives, processes, and projects whilst continuing to oversee supervision, training, and development of the team.Liaising and communicating with other departments, clients, and directors to generate business leads.Actively supporting the Tax Associate/Director(s) and working with and supporting the non-Tax Managers and Directors.Maintaining the highest level of technical competence and applying it in response to client needs.Supporting the Tax Director(s) with marketing initiatives and providing content.Identifying cross-selling opportunities through networking, attending client functions, and seminars.Involvement in the tax team financials with the senior members of the tax team; chargeable time, recoveries, and billings.Closing date for applications: November 25, 2024 Apply for this jobYour full name
