Job DescriptionPosition: To manage and lead the delivery of sustainable building services solutions on individual projects; to be a proactive member of the sustainability team; to contribute to the resource allocation of sustainability requirements as project work demands; contribute to the development of the sustainability team with marketing and fee bids and keeping up to date with current Legislation and Planning Policies.
This position can be based in one of our clients numerous UK offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Warrington, Aberdeen, or Glasgow.
Responsibilities: Delivery of Energy Strategies for Planning ApplicationsLodgement of SAP calculationsLodgement of non-domestic and domestic EPCsDelivery of Sustainability Statements for Planning ApplicationsKnowledge of BREEAM / WELLKnowledge of Home Quality Mark (HQM)Thermal modelling to Level 5 (preferred)Knowledge of façade performance and U-value calculationsKnowledge of Energy Auditing and AssessmentKnowledge of daylight calculationsInput into fee proposalsRequirements (essential): Educated to degree level in related disciplineKnowledge of residential and non-residential energy modellingBREEAM AssessorEnsure that the Quality System procedures are adhered toResponsible attitude and actively undertake trainingLead external workshops and design team meetingsRequirements (desirable): Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical designKnowledge of RIBA stages of workLevel 5 IES thermal modelling accreditation
