Connect2SocialWork are looking for a dedicated Senior Support Worker/Team Leader for a children's home in Herne Bay.
\n You will be required to support the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose.
As well as supporting and managing the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
The Senior Support Worker will also be responsible for planning shifts and ensuring that resources are allocated.
\n REQUIREMENTS: \n \n Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent \n Knowledge of CHR and QS \n Knowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislation \n 12 months relevant supervisory experience \n 12 months experience of working in a residential setting with challenging behaviour \n Excellent communication skills \n Ability to manage teams effectively \n \n \n RATE OF PAY: \n \n Starts at £14.50 per hour (DOE) \n Sleep-ins paid at £50/sleep \n \n \n \n If you are interested in this role or would like to hear about other opportunities, please get in contact today on 07563 570049 or email me \n About Connect2SocialWork \n Connect2SocialWork is wholly owned by Kent County Council.
