Job Title: Senior Children's Residential Support Worker Location: St Albans Salary: £29,600 - £30,800 per annum, plus sleep-in allowance Hours: Full-time, long day shifts plus sleep-ins About Our Client: Our client is a dynamic and expanding organisation dedicated to providing innovative care and educational services for children and young people with complex needs, emotional and behavioural challenges.

Role Overview: As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker , you will: Collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care.
Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.
Essential Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.

Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.

Preferred Requirements: Experience: More than 2 years in a similar role will be highly advantageous.
Further Qualifications: Additional qualifications in child care or therapeutic support.
