Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker Location: M18, Manchester Salary: £12.00 per hour increasing to £13.00 per hour in March Sleeps £50.00 Shift pattern: Long days | Sleeps | Full time | 2 on 3 off | We are excited to be hiring for experienced Senior Residential Children's Support Workers to join our client's service based in the M18 area of Manchester.
This is a 2 bed EBD home with Outstanding OFSTED rating.
Excellent training will be provided including the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5.
Main duties: To assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to achieve the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisation's Mission Statement and Values.
To support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
To undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
To ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated.
To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
To offer supervision and support to staff in line with National Minimum Standards and as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.
Senior RSW position requirements:  NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, Children & Young Peoples Workforce 1-2 years of working within a Residential Ofsted environment- preferred Experience of working with children and young people ages 8-18 years with EBD Have experienced challenging young people Strong knowledge around Ofsted regulations Ideally hold full UK drivers license If this is of interest to you, APPLY TODAY!
