We are looking for an experienced and versatile strategist with deep interest and experience in beauty and lifestyle to join the Fairy family.
2025 is set to be a hugely exciting year for the agency and we're on the hunt for people ready to jump in with boundless curiosity and enthusiasm for flexing their strategic skillset.
As our Senior Strategist, you will be responsible for crafting brand-led creative strategy, writing proposals and inspiring ideation across a range of projects.
At the same time you will be building tactically effective strategies and content plans, with platform and creator best-practice underpinning your thinking and recommendations.
The person in this role will be obsessed with what success looks like, designing activations and projects to deliver on both commercial and cultural ROI.

At The Digital Fairy, strategy takes a leading role.
You will be expected to collaborate closely with, and where relevant, independently lead all teams across new-biz pitches and project delivery, ensuring everything we do is executed to the highest standard - not forgetting the signature Digi sparkle.

We're a small team that punches above our weight in terms of the breadth of our strategic offering.
Our team works on a range of big picture strategy asks from insight reports to narrative development, creative campaigns to talent strategy and social strategy playbooks.
We're looking for a flexible senior level strategist who doesn't believe in putting themself into a box and is excited to create disruptive, category re-defining work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Strategy: Leading rich creative output across the business: be it 360 campaigns, social-first content or creator-led activations.

Pulling together great compelling narrative decks, developing creative platforms, finding interesting angles to build disruptive ideas for our clients.
Staying close with the internal team executing the strategy to ensure it always links back to the original intention, insight and brief.
Leading and facilitating plenty of brainstorming sessions and opportunities for the team to collaborate towards creating big creative ideas.
Client facing, confident in pitching in your strategy to senior client stakeholders.
Ensuring that we stay sensitive to audience and cultural nuances, to ensure that our work remains fully considered and inclusive.
Social Strategy: Taking charge of all digital comms and content strategy for our clients.
Being the voice of performance in the agency and caring deeply about creating work that draws eyeballs and delivers against KPIs.

Being the internal expert on all things social, staying abreast of the latest platform intel, social trends and strategies and advising our clients on how to show up - when, where and in what format.
This could look like setting the direction for a skincare brand's paid and organic TikTok strategy, working with the creative team to make sure our campaigns roll out in the best way with performance in mind, inspiring the talent team to look at new platforms or social trends, or driving our reporting function, so we always know that the work we are making has made maximum impact.
Establishing and fostering strong relationships with key reps at all of the platforms (TikTok, Meta, SNAP etc.
), ensuring you are abreast of all relevant updates and using this knowledge to elevate our work both in pitch/proposal stage and via your strategic recommendations to other teams within the business.
Independently leading social-first new business pitches from beginning to end.
Taking full ownership of delivering work that meets client briefs, orchestrating collaboration with wider teams as required.
Identifying relevant measurement and social listening tools to aid our analysis and reporting for clients, and establishing and maintaining relationships with third party providers to build out Digi's social measurement offering in the long-term.
Talent Strategy: Strategic design of The Digital Fairy's globally renowned disruptive creator campaigns.

Leading all briefs which require talent strategy and identifying areas where strategies could benefit from talent.
Advising our clients on talent collaboration best practice, including measurement, paid activation and full-funnel utilisation of talent.
Designing talent campaign models and processes that deliver on both efficiency and innovation.
Staying tapped into the latest boundary-pushing talent partnerships across the beauty and lifestyle sector.
Working closely with our talent delivery team to recommend innovative and impactful creators for our client campaigns.
Provide a firm POV on project design and resource required to feed into the budgeting process.
Research, Insight and Thought Leadership: Maintaining The Digital Fairy's established reputation as a cultural oracle and thought leader in the beauty and lifestyle category.
Uncovering provocative insight that lifts the lid on digital communities and challenges the status quo.

Leading on both proactive and secondary research for the agency and our clients: finding untold stories and hidden insights, charting cultural shifts and emerging audience behaviours Collaboration with third-party providers and researchers on the delivery of paid primary research projects Shaping best in class reports, immersions or workshops to ensure our insight sticks and drives change across client businesses Acting as a spokesperson for the agency in PR, event and marketing opportunities Staying actively plugged into beauty & lifestyle category trends, brand best practice and shifts in industry conversation surrounding these spaces WHO YOU ARE
You'll have previous experience leading or crafting work for Beauty/FMCG/lifestyle clients, and will be passionate about the sector and collaborating with clients to shake-up the category.
You'll have 5+ years experience in strategy, with experience working in digital/social strategy, performance or media strategy.
You'll be highly audience focused, adept at putting insight at the heart of your strategic recommendations.
You'll have multiple methods for finding audience insights, developing smart channel thinking and driving more engaging, effective and culturally relevant work.
You'll have a great blend of right and left brain; able to plan campaigns and customer journeys in a methodical and data driven way, but also able to come up with insight that inspires creatives.
You'll be a storyteller, able to create compelling recommendations that clients want to buy into.
You'll have hands-on experience of delivering both organic and paid social strategy and activation, and also experience in data driven creativity.
You'll be endlessly curious, and plugged into digital-first culture, communities and content.
You'll have experience designing, presenting and implementing integrated media campaigns across a range of channels.
You'll have the ability to work well with multiple internal and external stakeholders and collaborators, to ensure that the proposed strategies create the strongest impact with the resources available.
You will have a strong knowledge of wider marketing trends, with a nuanced understanding of next-gen and digital culture and get how our clients can connect to beauty trends and industry movements.
Excellent analytical skills, adept at using data to inform strategic recommendations and prove success.
