Role Overview: They are seeking a Senior Strategic Land & Planning Manager to join their team in Surrey.
This position is critical in advancing their strategic land initiatives, securing planning permissions, and supporting the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Land Identification & Acquisition: Identify and evaluate land opportunities with medium to long-term potential for residential development.
Planning Promotion: Manage the promotion of strategic land through the planning process, ensuring compliance with local planning policies and regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders to gain support for development proposals.
Project Management: Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and feasibility studies to inform strategic land acquisition and development plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical, finance, and sales, to ensure integrated project delivery.
Reporting & Strategic Insight: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, outlining project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications: Significant experience in strategic land management and planning within the residential development sector.
In-depth knowledge of UK planning legislation and procedures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to manage complex projects and engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
