Jewish Care, the largest health and social care organisation for the UK Jewish community, is seeking a dynamic Senior Strategic Fundraising & Events Consultant to lead its events team and key fundraising programmes, including the Friends of Jewish Care and Young Jami & Jewish Care (YJJC) portfolios.
With an annual fundraising target of £20m, this role is critical to engaging supporters, delivering exceptional events, and sustaining our mission for future generations.This post is fixed term for 12 months.Role OverviewYou will lead a high-performing team, oversee stewardship programmes, and manage a portfolio of around 20 events annually.
This role involves building relationships with donors, volunteers, and committee members while driving the growth of key fundraising initiatives.Key Responsibilities Leadership: Manage six direct reports, ensuring team performance and professional development.
Fundraising: Develop stewardship strategies, grow the Friends of Jewish Care programme, and manage the YJJC and JC Families events calendar.
Events Management: Lead flagship events such as the HSC Gala Dinner, ensure income targets are met, and continuously improve the events portfolio.
Strategic Input: Support and advise the Director of Fundraising and Marketing on key initiatives.What We're Looking For Degree or equivalent and a fundraising qualification.
5+ years' fundraising experience with a proven track record of meeting targets.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Experience engaging young supporters (20–35 age range).
