The role is based at Musgrove Park Hospital, however you may have the opportunity to work at Yeovil District Hospital.As a fully integrated trust, we can offer a collaborative approach to your career with us, meaning there would be opportunities to rotate across sites to ensure your skills and knowledge are as broad as they possibly can be.We value our RGNs highly, so development and training within this role will be offered and prioritised.
There is an expectation that hours are worked flexibly over a rota basis which does include nights and weekends.

Main duties of the job To provide and maintain a high standard of evidence based, patient centred care.
To demonstrate good interpersonal skills and to develop practical skills required within the speciality, whist reflecting the philosophy of care.To deliver patient care on a daily basis, using the systems in place in the department for a multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centred care delivery, which builds on the philosophy of greater involvement of parents/carers by using a Family Integrated Care strategy.As an experienced Band 6, you will also provide effective clinical and managerial leadership of the department, in the absence of the senior members of the team, which empowers staff to deliver patient- centred, evidence based nursing care.
