We're looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our six-bedded ITU Unit at The Lister Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.
The Critical Care Unit provides High Dependency (level 2), Intensive Care (Level 3) and 24-hour patient outreach service to the clinical areas.
The ITU team cover a wide range of specialities, including Colorectal, Gynaecology, Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Neuro & Spinal and Acute Medicine.
The ITU unit also has strong links with the ITU at London Bridge Hospital which provides staff the opportunity to work on another site and to maintain their skills by caring for a wider range of patients.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, we'll look to you to provide clinical leadership and act as a mentor and role model to our junior members of staff.
You will manage complex patient care (as bed-side nurse, and lead the six-bedded critical care unit in the absence of Sisters/Charge Nurse.
