The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses.
WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture.
As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses.

Key job responsibilitiesRepresent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.A day in the lifeA typical day might include meeting with technical product managers at AWS or with partners, collaborating with others to build and test demonstrations and proofs of concept, and writing technical content such as blog posts and papers.
It might also include reading technical news bulletins to stay abreast of changes in technology that affect your partners and getting hands-on with AWS every day.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications5+ years management of technical, customer facing resources5+ years of experience building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions or experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP or similar CCaaS technologyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHistory of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprisesExperience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloudFamiliarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.Experience working within software development or Internet-related industriesAWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertiseComputer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desiredAbout the teamThe WWSO APJ CXE Specialist Solution Architecture team is a diverse group of architects located throughout Asia, Pacific and Japan.
The team develops Contact Centre architectures and solutions using Amazon Connect for our customers.
Specialist SAs play a critical role in capturing customer feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as they work backwards from their needs.
As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.
