If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to play a key role in the culinary team at Wycombe Abbey one of our key-contracts and a prestigious independent school in High Wycombe.
The school operates year-round, hosting several hospitality and events across evenings and weekends.
However, we ensure a well-organized schedule within our growing team to help you maintain a positive work-life balance.
Additionally, there are plenty of opportunities to work overtime during these events to boost your earning potential.
We are seeking a highly skilled Weekend Senior Sous Chef.
The ideal candidate will be capable of running and controlling the kitchen over the weekend, with all necessary tools provided.
The role involves 8-hour shifts, either early or late, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.
A lunch break and lunch are provided.

Job Description What you'll do... Bring delicious menu options to our students by overseeing the running of the different sections where necessary.
Nurture and develop the talent of the kitchen team, creating an environment that brings out the best in them and where they can be themselves.
Make sure things are running without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth as chipotle butter, and our food hygiene standards are sky-high.
Work with our Executive Head Chef on ideas and techniques that make our kitchen a creative, ever-changing environment where we're always looking to make the best food out there.
In the absence of the Executive Head Chef, you will act in their place to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
Pay attention to the details to ensure every meal served is as delicious as the one before!
Qualifications What we're looking for... You're all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way.
Previous experience as a Senior Sous or Sous Chef in a busy, bustling environment with freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority.
Ideally Education or contract-catering environments, however this is preferred not essential.
Proven track record managing large kitchen teams.
A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu.
A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self.
