Hutcheon Mearns are supporting a leading private client residential property firm who specialise in providing a one stop property service associated with private client work.
The firm boasts a prominent city centre location and provides a complete service from its Aberdeen HQ, including buying, selling, relocating, remortgage, wills and executry administration support.
The firm now seeks to appoint a Senior Solicitor into the team to undertake a range of interesting residential property work.
The successful candidate will be required to provide advice to the firm's clients to ensure that they receive exceptional client service, prepare and review legal documentation and collaborate with other professionals to deliver solutions The preferred candidate will have previous conveyancing experience in a similar role, experience in managing people and excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
They must be highly organised with the ability to build professional relationships with clients and third parties.
Handling a wide range of residential property matters from inception to completion.
Advising clients on all aspects of residential property transactions.
Conducting legal research and providing accurate, comprehensive advice.
Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other solicitors.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Managing and mentoring junior staff as required.
Contributing to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements: Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE in residential property law.
Proven track record of handling complex residential property transactions.
Excellent communication and client care skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in using case management systems and legal research tools.
