About the Role :
As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you'll lead the testing and verification of advanced radar software systems.
Working with a collaborative team of engineers, you will manage both manual and automated testing processes, ensuring that software meets rigorous quality and performance standards.
What You'll Be Doing :
• Managing the creation and execution of manual and automated tests to validate software functionality and behaviour.
• Overseeing the generation of Software Functional Proving Builds, using components under configuration control.
• Leading software verification and validation activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Producing and maintaining essential testing documentation, including Software Test Plans (STPs), Software Test Reports (STRs), and the Verification Cross-Reference Index (VCRI).
• Collaborating with stakeholders to support continuous product improvement and quality assurance.
About You :
We're looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring software quality in complex systems.
Essential Skills & Experience :
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language and familiarity with high-level design methodologies (e.g., UML).
• Comprehensive understanding of the software lifecycle (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) and associated standards (e.g., ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207).
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to construct logical arguments and produce detailed reports.
