Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the ongoing development and innovation of Elevate .

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in design discussions, whiteboarding, and pair programming sessions.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on unit and acceptance testing.
Deliver high-quality software, from development to deployment and ongoing monitoring.
Refactor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing software solutions.
Share constructive feedback with colleagues and foster a positive, growth-oriented team environment.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to supporting documentation.
Practice continuous improvement (KAIZEN) by identifying and implementing ways to enhance processes, code, and team dynamics.
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience delivering scalable, fully-tested cloud-native solutions with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS).
Strong expertise in functional programming, particularly using Java , Spring Boot , Docker, Git, and OpenAPI.
Solid experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
Desirable Skills: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform ).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Kubernetes.
Experience with Selenium and/or Cucumber for test automation.
Soft Skills: Collaborative team player with a passion for helping others and sharing knowledge.
Adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Flexible yet organised work style.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
