Senior Software Engineer
Location- Bristol
Salary- £60,000-£85,000
Clearance- SC Cleared (Preferred)it and DV Clearable
On-Site Requirements- 1-2 days a week
The Role:
Are you ready to bring your software engineering expertise to tackle challenging real-world problems?
We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a highly skilled team working on innovative public sector projects.
You'll play a key role in designing and delivering bespoke software solutions that address complex operational challenges.
With a hybrid working model, you can choose to work remotely or from one of our UK offices, with occasional client visits.
Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, and testing custom software solutions.
• Leveraging open-source tools and technologies to craft modern, scalable systems.
• Building and optimizing continuous integration pipelines using tools like GitLab to maintain high standards for code quality and security.
• Deploying applications across diverse environments, including AWS, Azure, and private cloud infrastructure.
• Engaging in all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Leading teams or collaborating directly with clients to deliver results
Essential Requirements:
• Proficiency in Java or Python, combined with JavaScript (React preferred).
• A background in cloud technologies like AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to diverse challenges.
• Prior consultancy experience (useful but not mandatory).
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
