Our North West & Central office in Warrington is seeking a Senior Site Agent to support our CP7 framework infrastructure projects, which include but will not be limited to bridge renewals and re-cons, structural installations, platforms, station enhancements and Access for All (AFA) schemes.About the Business Unit:Our team operates in a fast-paced project environment, managing a wide portfolio of civil engineering works that include bridge upgrades and refurbishments, station enhancements, footbridges, and general civil works along rail lines.Role Overview:As a Senior Site Agent, you will play a key leadership role on-site and report directly to the Project Manager.
Your main responsibility will be the successful delivery of projects by ensuring the site team is well-informed about contract details and adequately equipped to meet contract and project objectives.Key Responsibilities:Ensure contract execution aligns with:Applicable legislationTerms and Conditions of the ContractContract Health and Safety PlanWork Package Plans and Task Briefing SheetsContract Quality and Environmental PlanAchieve project delivery within agreed programme and budget constraints.Liaise with site staff and managing surveyors to maintain budgetary compliance.Continuously monitor project progress and adjust to meet contract objectives.Identify, agree upon, and manage changes to contracts with the site team.Provide formal reports on project progress to the Contracts Manager.Requirements:Proven experience as a Site Agent / Senior Site Agent in rail and civil engineering projects.Degree, HNC, or HND in civil engineering or equivalent experience in a technical engineering context.SMSTS and PTS certifications.Experience with rail infrastructure projects such as station enhancements, AFA (access for all) schemes, bridge and structures works.What We Offer:Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience).Company car or car allowance.25 days of holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service).Up to 3 days for volunteer work.Company contributory pension scheme.Life insurance.Westfield Health Cash Plan and Westfield Rewards.Generous employee referral scheme.Strong emphasis on personal and professional development with clear pathways for career progression.Continuous learning opportunities.Commitment to a safe working environment.Opportunity to participate in employee forums to voice concerns and suggestions.Application Process:If you are an experienced Site Agent or Senior Site Agent looking to make a significant impact in a thriving team with long term secured works, we encourage you to apply.
