Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated nurse with excellent leadership and management skills and high standards of quality to join our team on Ward N2 as a Senior Sister/Senior Charge Nurse.N2 is a 22 bed Ward that is all siderooms.
We specialise in caring for patients who have Respiratory and Gastroenterology Infections who require to be barrier nursed.You must be an experienced individual who is able to work with a large multidisciplinary team to promote change, high quality patient care and effective patient flow.
Main duties of the job You will lead and co-ordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure an optimum level of safe and effective patient care within budgetary will be required to assess care needs, to develop, to implement and evaluate programmes of care.You will be responsible for all aspects of staff management and recruitment in line with HR policy.
You will be required to participate in Divisional bleep holder rotas which entails a late shift and weekend shift.You will be a visible presence in the ward area and be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance and management within the ward area.
