We are looking for an engineering / technically minded candidate from an Institute of Engineering background to work on some of the most innovative and compelling projects in the OT market with a specialist CoE Lab to help find solutions to some of the most critical national clients problems.
Due to significant growth plans, they are looking for security consultants at Senior or Managing Consultant grades to focus on Operational Technology (OT) consulting services to lead and deliver compelling engagements to a varied portfolio of clients CNI clients across Energy & Power, Manufacturing, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Water, Utilities and many more!
Your engagements will be consulting-led, focused on understanding their customers' business, building trust and providing cyber security expertise across the spectrum.
You will assist clients in designing or reviewing their Operational Technology controls and systems ensuring appropriate security controls are in place.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of established OT cybersecurity controls and strategies and implemented comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for OT systems.
You will come from a technical engineering background be passionate about the technical side of OT/ ICS (Industrial Control Systems) , and have experience in building, designing systems and deployment of these.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: Delivering against client engagements ensuring exceptional quality covering – ISO 27001 Certification, NIS D Compliance, IEC 62443, PSN compliance and other areas of governance, risk and compliance.
Review and advise clients on security controls in their OT environment Crafting secure OT network architectures and robust perimeter defences.
Developing secure OT remote access solutions.
Developing innovative security solutions to address the limitations of legacy OT systems.
Provide feedback on risk and provide appropriate security advice Helping to architect secure Operational Technology (OT) environments Assist clients with understanding threats to their business and develop effective security solutions Experience Required: Current experience consulting / client-facing, ability to confidently engage with a variety of stakeholders.
Current experience focusing on Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems Electrical design or Engineering background – It is imperative to have a deep technical understanding of OT / Industrial control systems and automation Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like ISA/IEC 62443, NCSC CAF, NIST SP 800-82, HSE OG86, and ISA TR84.
Experience working in industrial environments, including familiarity with change management procedures and FAT/SAT processes.
Awareness of the OT security threat landscape.
Experience developing solutions to address client security requirements.
Excellent understanding of SCADA and PLC technologies.
