Senior SDET – Retail / E-Commerce – JavaScript / TypeScript, Playwright, React Oliver Bernard are currently working with a growing Retail / E-Commerce company, based in Macclesfield, who are organically growing their tech team as they improve the extensive reach of their buying and selling platform across the UK.
Currently, the team are seeking a seasoned Senior SDET to join the team as their first testing hire, who can help scale their testing processes by building out an automation framework, and driving testing best practices in the process, as they look to work towards a quality first approach.
This position is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to own the QA / Testing practices within a broader Development team, have autonomy in their work, and progress in a fast paced, established, and friendly environment.
To be considered, you will need the following experience: 5+ years' JavaScript / TypeScript Automation experience Strong hands-on experience with Playwright from a framework perspective Capable working in a broader TypeScript driven environment (React and Node) Must be capable writing code and working closely with Developers in an SDET capacity Previous experience across API Testing and CI/CD is also required This position is able to offer £60-80K on the base salary, alongside benefits, and operates a hybrid working model (with 1-2 office days required per week).
