Job Description:Senior Scrum MasterHybridStaines / Brighton BN1 4FY - Permanent£54,000 -67,500 per annum, depending on experience + bonus and benefitsFull time 37.5 hours per weekWe make health happenBupa Global is the international health insurance division of Bupa.
We provide customers who want premium international coverage with products and services to access the healthcare they need anytime, around the world, whether at home or when studying, living, travelling or working abroad.Bupa Global has offices around the world including London and Brighton (UK), Dublin (Europe), Miami (USA), Dubai (UAE, in partnership with OIC), Egypt and Hong Kong (China) as well as regional offices in mainland China, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Panama, Guatemala and Ecuador.As Senior Scrum Master you will work with multiple Scrum Masters across multiple scrums to improve agile ways of working; helping to remove waste and improve productivity and engagement.This is a new role whose focus is to support multiple scrum masters and scrums across Bupa Global.Focus will be on improving agile ways of working and processes.
Aiding removal of impediments.
Ultimately improving productivity and quality deliverables from Scrums.How you'll help us make health happen:Being accountable for the continual development and improvement across multiple scrums for agile processes and ways of working, helping to remove waste and improve productivity and engagement.Support scrum masters to effectively facilitate all agile ceremonies assisting the scrums to meet their iteration goals (includes sprint pre-planning and planning, daily stand up's, sprint retrospective and sprint demos)Act as an agile coach to the scrums and scrum master, effectively support each scrum member to 'be the best that they can be'.Assist the Product Owners/Managers to develop and maintain high quality user-stories, backlogs and drive the adoption of better tooling and processes.Assist scrum masters to remove impediments and protect the scrum from distractions.Contribute to the assessment and validation of solutions, designs, POCs (proof of concept) etc to ensure that end to end solutions are fit for purposeWork to appropriate the appropriate standards, development methodologies and strategic architecture frameworksAct as a bridge between the business, architecture, and development communitiesKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Proven commercial experience as a Scrum Master / Scrum of Scrum MastersYou will demonstrate knowledge and experience of Service and ClaimsWorking in an Agile environment and the using agile methods, such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFeStrong, proven leadership skillsTechnical knowledge or some familiarity with approaches, tooling and languages (examples could include PLSQL, .net, Python, R, C#, test automation frameworks, Azure Dev Ops, Snowflake etc)BCS BA certification or equivalent industry certifications (desired) such as Certified Scrum Master accreditationBenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
