At Working Knowledge, we're on a mission to help young people thrive in careers they're passionate about.
We have been around for 20 years as a Social Business helping over 30k young people.
Our Marketing Academy trains young people, most aged 23y and with no prior marketing experience, to become the in-house marketing teams that small businesses need.
And not only does it work but Gov funding covers most of our costs.
Having proven our Marketing Academy delivery-model, we are now in a position to hire for the first time a dedicated Sales person to grow the Marketing Academy.
What's the role?
You would be selling our Marketing Academy to small business OWNERS with Gov funding covering most of our costs.
Sales meetings are on Zoom.
Phone calls & LinkedIn are vital.
This is a classic solution-sales; helping prospects understand their problem and guiding them to whether our solution is right for them.
Some sales close in just 2 weeks.
Others take a year.
Your sales craft will adjust to the needs of the prospect and ensure all are nurtured in the way that makes sense to them.
Our clients 'feel' their marketing could be delivering them more.
But since they are not marketers themselves they don't know how to solve their issue, nor do they have the time.
Our solution trains the business owner to LEAD their marketing while also training a junior to get all the essential marketing tasks done in a way that delivers results.
You'll be showing SME-owners how they can grow their business by investing in new talent while giving young people, often with limited life opportunities, the chance to build a career they're passionate about.

What about the money?
Basic is £30k.
OTE in year one is £47k.
Our revenue is based largely on a subscription model, and you get a share of the monthly subscriptions.
Therefore a large part of your OTE is almost assured for months ahead.
