Who we're looking for We are currently looking to recruit someone to take on the challenge of increasing our offline sales and join our outbound sales team in London. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this department is primarily responsible for generating new business and delivering the sales plan. The primary purpose of this role is to bring a proactive, data-driven, strategic approach to selling our premium tickets and hospitality, through enquiries and key outbound leads.
The ideal candidate would have a passion for sports, music and live events and is excited to help the business grow.
We're in the live events business, which means in-person events are our core. This translates to our company culture and this role requires the candidate to be in the office five days a week at our London HQ. This in-person environment fosters agility. Being together allows our team to make quick decisions and adapt to the constant changes in our industry.
Responsibilities Your role will involve:
Building new business and closing salesProactively build the database and client base with business development callsTo undertake outbound sales calls to achieve targeted numbers of salesIdentify key new leadsConverting warm enquiriesWhen required, attend commercial and networking evenings to represent the company and increase awareness of Seat Unique amongst prospective clients and attract new businessSkills & Experience Minimum of 3 year's sales experienceProfessional phone mannerExcellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsAbility to communicate with HWIs and corporate clientsConfidence in representing the Seat Unique brandRelevant experience of working in pro-active sales, ideally within a Sports/Events sales environment and/or with high-net-worth clientsTrack record of high performance within a sales environmentExcellent written and spoken EnglishKnowledge of Microsoft Office programmesPossess a problem-solving, pro-active and consultative approach to meeting clients' needsAbility to present complicated options in a clear and effective manner both over the phone and in-personAbility to function well in a high-pressure environmentAbility to source own sales leadsAbility to multitask effectivelyPositive and flexible approach to work with a proven commitment to teamworkProven ability to communicate effectively with a dynamic range of individuals - both internally and externallyExcellent organisational, presentational and interpersonal skillsBenefits Employee share options scheme23 days of annual leave + public holidaysA top-tier private health insurance packageLearning and development budgetEmployee Referral SchemeCycle to work schemeWeekly Deliveroo vouchersAccess to VIP experiences at live events
