Position: Senior Sales Engineer - UK Industry: Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Location: Nottingham region (hybrid) Overview: We are recruiting for an ambitious Senior Sales Engineer to join this international Mechanical Engineering Group with UK office based near Nottingham.

Responsibilities include: - Developing customer relationships across the UK - Maximising existing customers as well as developing new business and customers including OEM and distribution - Working closely with customers providing product support in association with technical / engineering teams - Reporting directly to the Sales Director - Responsible for promoting products to customers - Develop a multi-channel approach - Work closely with internal and external teams regarding market and product insights, trends, data and competitor analysis - Continuously improving customer experience - Work closely with Marketing - publications, marketing material etc - Travel across the territory - meeting customers, trade shows etc (approx 30 - 40%) - Weekly reporting and CRM system management Candidate Profile: - Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Business related subject - At least 4 years' B2B sales or account management experience - Experience of industrial / mechanical engineering sector - Proven track record of sales and customer success in different channels - direct, OEM and distributor - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Customer focused - Happy to travel across the UK as required (approx 30%) - Ability to work well in a close team environment as well as independently Apply: ****** (or apply through LinkedIn) 020 7803 4341 www.xbconsultants.com
