What You'll Do In this role, you'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of high-value clients, generating new business, and driving significant revenue growth.
You'll sell big-ticket solutions (think £100K to £1.5M), not just products — and your focus will be on trust, value, and relationships rather than short term wins.
You will target both new customers and existing clients, using a consultative approach to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
You'll be working directly with senior decision makers, ensuring that each solution is not just a sale, but a strategic partnership based on trust and long term value.
You will be expected to bring your expertise to the table, identifying market opportunities, creating sales strategies, and executing tactical plans to meet ambitious growth targets.
By the end of the first six months, you'll be expected to have a solid pipeline of business that you've developed through your own efforts.
Working closely with the leadership team, you'll also help to shape the sales strategy, contributing to the overall direction of the business as it adapts to new challenges and opportunities in the market.
What We're Looking For The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned capital equipment sales professional with a strong track record of success in capital equipment sales, ideally with experience in industries like waste management, industrial equipment, or similar.
You should be a hunter, not just a closer—someone who thrives in building relationships and creating new business opportunities from the ground up.
A consultative sales approach is crucial, as is the ability to understand complex client needs and offer tailored solutions.
While knowledge of the waste industry is a bonus, it's not a requirement; what's most important is your ability to sell high value, long term solutions with a focus on brand, quality, and reliability.
You'll be expected to engage with senior decision makers, building credibility at the top levels of organisations.
