This leading private wealth specialist UK law firm currently require an experienced Senior Revenue Controller to join them on an interim 6 month FTC basis with the potential to become permanent long term.
£50,000 - £60,000Hybrid working 3 days in the office / 2 remote – Hours 9.30am- 5.30mSt Pauls Acting as the main point of contact for all billing and collections matters for the firm, the Senior Revenue Controller will directly support the Finance Director and the wider team of 4 in finance handling firmwide revenue targets.
The firm is looking for a seasoned Revenue Controller from a law firm background who is confident to handle duties across the full revenue cycle as well as providing hands on monthly/quarterly and year end support to the Finance Director.
Senior Revenue Controller duties include; Overall responsibility for WIP and Aged Debt reporting across firmwide practice groups, conducting regular in person meetings with Partners to discuss WIP & Debt balancesResolve relevant residual balances held on mattersSending bills and ebills directly to the clients for payment and following up in accordance with the SLAsHandling client billing queriesDistribution of monthly statements to clients, including reconciling and applying interest to overdue billsConduct credit checks for businesses and providing credit limit recommendationsProcessing all card payments and managing PCIS complianceCalculating monthly cash targetsIssuing credit notes, time transfers, disbursements write offsProvide cover for finance team on occasions Senior Revenue Controller requirements; Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a billing and revenue focused role within a law firmKnowledge of legal practice management systems and ebilling platforms, as well as competent Excel skillsStrong written, communication and organisation skillsConfident knowledge of the VAT and SRA rulesCandidates must be able to commit for the duration of the contract, minimum 6 months.Available for a November / early December 2024 start
