Senior Research Engineer

Go Tek are currently on the lookout for a talented Senior Research Engineer with experience working with ML and Software Engineering practices for an AI Biotech Start-Up company.
They're an AI-generated enzyme design start-up and you'll develop innovative tools and algorithms to drive their enzyme design platform forward.
Responsibilities: Assist with developing and benchmarking predictive methods for protein design.
Enable the development of protein design leveraging ML/AI and physics-based methods.
Enable the development of a resilient, model-agnostic platform and its continuous evolution, by following coding standards, best practices, and benchmarking processes.
Required Experience: A PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science or related areas.
Experience with AI protein design, protein structure and property prediction methods.
Advanced software engineering skills and CI/CD pipeline experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, with further experience in scientific computing libraries such as NumPy, SciPy and Polars.
Familiarity with either AWS or GCP as well as Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
