Job summary The MidYorkshire NHS teaching trust (MYTT) is seeking experienced CT Radiographerswith previous NHS experience to join us as we work on expanding our CT service.We are a 4-site trust encompassing 6CTscanners with a 7th due in autumn 2025.We are aforward thinking department and offer a diverse and dynamic workload, includingcardiac CT, CT colonography, CT perfusion and Interventional oncology as wellas opportunities for research and audit.

Main duties of the job Towork as a member of the CT team responsible for producing high quality CTimages within the Radiology Service.Toperform a comprehensive range of CT procedures, across our 4 sites.Contributeto the out of hours service includingnights, weekends and on callsTocontribute towards the efficient deployment of resources enabling the patientto receive a safe, accurate and timely examination.Toassist in co-ordinating workflow demands within the CT departments across thetrust.Tocontribute towards finding solutions which will meet the rapidly changingdemands on the radiology service.Tocontribute to training/tutorial opportunities within the CT Department.Support the supervision and clinical training ofundergraduate radiography students and other trainees About us We are an acute trust caring for over half a million people in Wakefield and Kirklees.

Qualifications Essential BSc Radiography or , HPC.
REGISTERED Desirable Evidence of post graduate study In particular CT PG cert Knowledge and Awareness Essential Awareness of the changing demands on the radiology service.
Knowledge of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 200 and Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999.
Evidence of keeping informed of current techniques and practices.
Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, and Manual Handling.
Desirable Knowledge of, or interest in, QA.
Knowledge of, or interest in, teaching.
Knowledge of appraisal/staff development programmes.
Experience Essential Evidence of participating in out-of-hours radiography service.
Experience of IV cannulation.
Evidence of good CT experience.
Significant CT experience within the NHS.
Desirable Must have previous CT experience.
Evidence of experience over and above Radiographer level work beneficial to the department such as audit, co-ordinating workload and resources.
Evidence of delivering the clinical education of student radiographers, possibly including clinical supervisor/assessor roles.
