Senior Quantity Surveyor We're looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our Severn Trent team based Solihull, West Midlands.
Location : West Midlands, Solihull - can offer some working from home.
Hours: 42 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks stream on the Severn Trent Water contract, supporting them in the delivery of a portfolio of design and build water and sewerage treatment works.
You will lead a small team of commercial professionals in delivering a series of projects/portfolio of works.
Your day to day will include: To assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk management.
Measure works carried out and reconcile to Target Cost; Ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time.
Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team.
Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, The financial impact of decisions; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if: Degree in Quantity Surveying and a full UK driving licence.
Experience on NEC contracts with Target Costs.
Experience of the following systems, Microsoft business suite, Oracle, Causeway accounting systems, and Aconex contract portal.
Experience within the construction or civils industry.
