Job Profile: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy.
This role involves supporting the growth of a dynamic team within a newly established Manchester office.
The focus will be on delivering high-quality social housing projects while contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
As a Senior Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading project teams, managing project budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects in the North West residential sector.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the culture and growth of the Manchester office.
Duties: Prepare budget estimates and cost planning Manage tender procedures and contract negotiations Lead project meetings and ensure day-to-day project delivery Serve as Contract Administrator/Employer's Agent Conduct site visits, prepare reports, and manage project schedules Manage interim payments, final assessments, and contract variations Ensure project compliance with statutory approvals (Planning, Building Control) Delegate and coordinate tasks within the project team Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management MRICS or Associate Membership of RICS (or equivalent recognised qualification) Strong experience in the social housing sector Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills Hours Of Work: Weekly Hours: 36.25 hours per week Core Hours: 10:00am 4:15pm Flexible Start and End Times: Available If you're ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment, apply now to join the team!
