About the Position We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us.

The candidate will be based in our Leeds Office and will work on a number of varied projects, predominately in the commercial sectors.
Several of our clients are based outside of Leeds thus necessitating the need for some travel.

With an increasing workload over a wide range of projects we are seeking an additional team member at a senior level.
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who will fit in well with our friendly team and not only be involved in all aspects of Quantity Surveying from cost planning and pre-contract documentation to final account, but who is able to take on additional responsibilities outside of a technical remit.

Qualifications A degree or similar qualification and ideally MRICS or qualified by depth of Experience.

Experience / Skills required It would be expected that the successful candidate would possess the following experience and skills;
A minimum of 10 years' experience.

Able to work independently and in a small team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail and be able to read and interpret instructions carefully
Ability to interact well with Clients
Have a professional presentation
Be able to work efficiently and to remain calm under pressure.

Additionally, an understanding of M&E experience would be advantageous
Project Delivery Candidates will be expected to perform in a customer facing environment, providing pre and post contract cost management advice to a range of clients across the built environment sectors.
