Description Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils/Highways£60k-£70k Car Allowance + Benefits Package West Yorkshire My Client are a Tier 1 Civils Contractor that operate throughout the UK on a range of major projects.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Yorkshire Division working initially on high profile highways scheme in West Yorkshire reporting in to a MQS.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Duties to include: •Prelim establishment and maintain•Contract negotiation – scrutinising terms & conditions of contracts•Cost reporting to be completed by the commercial lead, however regular updates to be reported on•Cost advice and input into value engineering •Prepare monthly cost value reconciliation for project manager• Risk/opportunity• Arrange pre order meetings (where necessary), prepare and send out all sub contract orders• Prepare and agree monthly valuations• Check and agree sub-contractor applications and final accountsIdeal Candidate •The ideal candidate will have a track-record of delivering complex highways / Civils projects•A Confident decision maker who is able to take ownership of workload •Knowledge of D&B, NEC & JCT contract advantageous •CVR Appreciation •UK Driving LicenseWhat's in it for you?Apart from a great pipeline of high profile work with a cash rich company one the big draws for this company is the way they look after their staff.
