Working closely with training providers, this organisation is committed to upholding high standards of compliance and quality assurance to support the development of industry-recognised training programmes.
The Role – Senior Assurance Officer: As Senior Assurance Officer , you will support the Certified Training and Education Manager with crucial assurance processes , from proctoring online exams to investigating potential malpractice .
You will play a vital role in upholding quality standards , ensuring compliance , and supporting new training providers through the approval process .
This position also involves deputising for the manager , providing operational support for complex queries, and overseeing a small portfolio of Approved Training Partners (ATPs).
Key Responsibilities – Senior Assurance Officer: Proctoring exams: Manage the proctoring process, reviewing videos, performing ID checks, and overseeing learner approval processes.
Investigations: Lead investigations into malpractice and maladministration, gathering and analysing data to determine the scope and findings.
Support and assurance: Provide guidance on complex queries, collaborate on audit programme planning, and deputise for the manager as needed.
Training provider quality assurance: Manage the application and approval process for a small portfolio of ATPs, monitor compliance, and liaise on corrective actions and feedback.
Skills and Experience required – Senior Assurance Officer: Strong experience in quality assurance , ideally within an awarding organisation, regulatory environment, or professional body .
Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and processes , with excellent analytical skills to ensure compliance and recommend improvements.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to critically assess information , identifying potential risks or irregularities.
Strong customer service and account management skills with experience in building relationships with stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
