Specifically, we are seeking experienced candidates who can evidence their success in the implementation, coordination, execution and monitoring of all aspects of quality assurance associated with major projects and programmes.
Ensuring compliance with relevant ISO standards, client policies, procedures, specifications and the wider quality management systems.
Collaborating with key stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of on time, within budget, and to the quality standards and expectations of the client.You'll be responsible for: Supporting project delivery from a quality assurance perspective, including design and manufacturing through to installation and completion.
Ensuring customer quality needs are being met, contractual obligations fulfilled, and risks effectively mitigated.
Collaborating with the delivery teams and contractors to deliver a solution that drives best value for the client.
Liaising with contractors to ensure the review of and/or preparation and implementation of project quality plans, site quality plans and inspection and test plans in accordance with the Works Information.
Providing quality assurance advice and independent audit/monitoring/witnessing capability through design, manufacturing, construction, testing and commissioning phases.
Promoting best practice, sharing lessons and continuous improvement.
Working with our contractors to ensure correct responsibility and accountability in quality.
Supporting and enhancing the development and promotion of a positive quality culture across the project.
Tracking and ensure timely close-out of non-conformances and defects.
Reviewing and challenging the contractors quality management systems to drive contractual compliance and continuous improvement.
Provide assurance information to the client and delivery teams to clearly identify the status of project quality.
You'll need to have: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Knowledge of electricity distribution standards and construction activities would be desirable CDM awareness Experience in the development and implementation of robust quality and business management systems and associated documentation within a construction environment Knowledge of auditing and root cause analysis techniques Experience in the management and review of contract documentation The implementation of multi-disciplined quality and test plans and the interpretation of intervention levels, witness and hold points needed to deliver assurance and compliance Construction projects and working with client/contractors Working knowledge of CDM Regulations You'll also have: Degree qualified with a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience OR HNC /HND qualified with a minimum of seven years' relevant industry experience To be a member of a relevant professional institute To lead others effectively, gives clear direction and coaches and supports others to reach their full potential To persuade and influence others successfully towards a desired course of action.
