Role Overview The team plays a pivotal role in meeting the external reporting obligations of the EMEA Finance team at TP ICAP, with a primary focus on Regulatory and Statutory reporting across all legal entities within the EMEA region.
This role is focussed on ensuring all statutory reporting obligations are delivered in a timely and accurate manner..
This role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to a range of Finance-related projects and initiatives.
It's a hands-on finance position that requires a self-driven professional with exceptional communication, organisational, managerial, and analytical abilities.
Being able to work efficiently whilst ensuring a quality and controlled delivery of information is paramount.
Collaboration with various other functions within the finance department will be a significant aspect of this role.
Role Responsibilities Preparation and management of annual statutory accounts for various Broking, Holding & Service entities primarily under UK GAAP.
Support accounting for any corporate actions/new investments/capital changes etc.
Assist in drafting technical papers & ALCO/Board updates to support accounting treatments and governance.
Provide input into the continuous development of finance automation of current BAU processes.
Continue to develop the ongoing monthly analytical review process for Legal Entities, investigating and documenting material variances.
Delivery of prudential reporting processes/deliverables.
(e.g.
daily MI, FSA029 Balance Sheet, FSA030 Income Statement) Preparation of high quality regular and ad hoc financial information, applying critical evaluation and making recommendations suitable for senior management.
Foster strong working relationships across wider EMEA Finance team, Group Finance, Company Secretarial team and the external auditors to ensure timely delivery of statutory accounts.
Provide ad hoc assistance with prudential and statutory deliverables as required Experience / Competences Essential Qualified professional (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA Finance) with at least 3 years post qualification accounting experience in a similar position Solid understanding of accounting principles, , UK GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP as well as capacity to quickly understand the differences of the various local GAAPs under which the statutory accounts are prepared Experience in dealing with internal/ external auditors and handling audit requests Self-motivated individual, taking responsibility and ownership in delivering high quality work within set deadlines.

Demonstrate a risk and controls mindset, ensuring deliverables are documented appropriately.
Desired Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly excel and experience of accounting software (Oracle Financials and Onestream) is advantageous Understanding and implementation of new and existing technical accounting standards Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal.
Experience in managing small teams, including training and development of junior staff Demonstrated organisation skills including multi-tasking, prioritisation and delivery.
Commercial mindset, with the ability to identify problems, propose and implement solutions.
Experience in finance automation delivering new reporting requirements and process change.
