For more information about Staffordshire Police please click the below link: Home | Staffordshire PoliceAbout the Opportunity - SENIOR PROSECUTION CASEWORKER – GRADE F: Are you the right person to work effectively with colleagues to manage a team of caseworkers and administrators in an exciting, fast-paced and challenging role?Our Senior Prosecution Caseworkers have overall responsibility for the oversight of the varied workload coming through the Prosecution Hubs, allocating both traffic and crime work to staff.
We expect you to competently manage casefiles in line with the National File Standard and Directors Guidance (DG6), with a clear focus on providing professional support and excellent service to victims and witnesses throughout the Criminal Justice process, from the point of charge through to the conclusion of a case at court.
In addition to supporting and leading your teams, you will carry your own caseload, focusing on the most serious, complex and sensitive cases.There is an expectation of working closely with partner agencies including the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), His Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) and Third Sector Support Agencies, as well as liaising with officers and various departments across Force, fostering positive working relationships.Another aspect of the role includes generating Court Bundles and presenting applications at the Magistrates Court for Domestic Violence Protection Orders, and supporting with Police Led Prosecutions for Traffic Prosecutions.This role is based at the Southern Prosecution Hub at Cannock, with a starting salary of £ and will require some travel to locations around Staffordshire and some Saturday working.Further details relating to the role and responsibilities can be found within the role profile.The deadline for submissions is: Monday 9th December at 9:00amPlease ensure that your CV tailors to the key requirements outlined in the role profile.
