Role Context: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of our Operations Centre and all of its systems and interfaces. The ideal candidate will ensure that the MUPP network is operable, safe, and secure, whilst knowing how to integrate this need into the Operations Control Centre. This role demands extensive knowledge and experience with operations centres, wind farms, PV plant, BESS systems, Transmission Networks with a focus on system control, Energy Management System, Data Management, and SCADA systems as well as systems such as wide area monitoring (WAM).
You'll be: Leading and managing the delivery of the Ops Centre, ensuring network operability, safety, and security. Overseeing system control, EMS, data management, and SCADA systems. Engaging heavily with stakeholders, communicating effectively at senior leadership and board levels. Collaborating with data architects, control centre PM (building), commissioning teams, and network design teams. Driving the development of the Ops Centre package from initial philosophy through to EPC definition. Ensuring alignment with supply chain and technology requirements associated with the project. Adopting a hands-on approach to manage and resolve project challenges. You'll Have: Proven experience in managing operations centres or similar assets. Strong knowledge of system control, EMS, data management, and SCADA systems. Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and board members. In-depth understanding of supply chain and technology relevant to the Ops Centre. Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including data architects, control centre PMs, and network designers. Ability to drive project development from concept to execution. Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving attitude. Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Technical proficiency in system control, EMS, data management, and SCADA systems. Strategic thinking and planning capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
