Role Context: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of the Offshore contracts for the Xlinks project.
Working alongside Xlinks Workstream lead, this role will support the successful completion of the delivery milestones associated with the development phase inclusive of risks and interfaces and supply chain engagement.
The ideal candidate will ensure that the MUPP is technically robust, operable and safe.
This role demands knowledge and experience with offshore operations, HVDC cabling, subsea works, canyon crossing and fibre optic technology as well as commercial acumen to support the EPC contract development and negotiation process.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and assurance across the workstream areas.
Confirm EPC contracts meet employers' requirements and constraints.
Arrange and lead design reviews including operability and performance.
Provide support to ensure the project achieves financial close.
Manage EPC interfaces and risks.
Engage heavily with stakeholders, communicating effectively at senior leadership and board levels.
Ensure alignment with supply chain and technology requirements associated with the project.
Adopt a hands-on approach to manage and resolve project challenges.
Qualifications and Experience: Significant experience in the Power sector Strong knowledge and working experience of offshore contracts and supply chain.
Demonstrated ability to interface with senior leadership and board members.
In-depth understanding of supply chain and technology relevant to the workstream.
Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
